Sometimes I meet a couple and instantly know not only would we get on but that if I end up planning their wedding, it will be a very enjoyable experience. Chloe & Alistair were very much that couple!
I met Chloe & Alistair on a lovely sunny day at their beautiful home in a small village near Newark. During our consultation we discussed the options of hosting their wedding at a venue close to their Nottinghamshire home… but then the meeting ended with great excitement after we discussed the possibilities of having their ceremony in their own church, followed by reception in a marquee, tent or tipi. This would be in one of the overgrown woodlands on their family estate. I must point out, when I say overgrown, it really was!
I walked away incredibly excited and hoped that they would choose me as their planner.
Twelve months later, with a lot of planning work and meetings in between, plus the wonderful home cooked lunches I was invited to at every meeting {thank you Chloe, Alistair and family for making me so welcome throughout!}… we brought their vision to life.
The church service. A romantic Sperry tent reception. A day filled with African touches. Amazing entertainment and delicious food from start until late.
This is one wedding I’ll never forget and I hope you enjoy the photographs of their day as much I do. With huge thanks to the team in bringing the day together and lots of love to the happy couple.
xoxo
